Brianna: Hey ladies and gents, this is your girl, Brianna Jovahn, and I wanna thank you for attending the season finale of season eight of What's Good podcast. This has been an amazing season. I am super d duper excited. We have had an amazing time chatting with all our, our amazing guests on the show. We'll get to everybody that was on the show this season, but.
If it wasn't for you guys, we wouldn't be able to do it. So as you guys know, we always put out a theme of different categories out there for you guys to choose from, and it was real estate and the best thing, and we just had a ball. You guys sent people my way, suggested different guests to come and it was just.
Really, really great to collab and talk to the people here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We were able to find a place to record this season, Comerica Business hq. If you've been listening to the episodes, you have definitely heard me talk about them. If you've seen us on YouTube, y'all need to draw these uh, views up on YouTube because nobody really goes there.
So I'm just wondering, do y'all know this is a visual? Podcast as well. But other than that, yes, we are on YouTube, so definitely check us out. We will be revamping our YouTube channel really soon, but the podcast is there for you to look at. But yes, if you look at our YouTube. Videos, you will see that we are recording at Comerica Business hq.
They have several different rooms that we can record in. We have the content room that you can go to, and the other rooms are pretty much just collaboration rooms that you can rent out to co-work and things of that nature. So if you've been listening, we've been talking about Comerica throughout this entire season, so definitely make sure that you check in, tap in with all the free resources that they have there, and let them know that I sent you.
This as you're watching me, you're gonna see me looking down because I do have some notes in front of me 'cause we have a lot of things that we need to go over. But I definitely want to express my gratitude for just thanking you for tuning in. We took a year and a half long hiatus, but we came back strong this season.
rt, we are almost knocking at:This would not be possible without you. And we also, as we, you know, changed up, the name did a revamp. When it comes to the description, we are number 13 as far as top 80 podcasts here in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. So. These are just amazing things that I wanted to share with you just to express my gratitude because this would not be possible without you.
So I'm just very, very thankful for the support your listening ears and your wonderful eyes, just really helping us getting the word out about what's good podcast. You may hear me go back and forth with saying, what's good podcast in Dallas, Texas? What's good? But it's all the same thing. We just revamped it because we wanna make sure that people know that we are planting our feet here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
d to do as far as my plan for:I wanna make sure that I can give you those resources as well. So with that being stated, God has really been working on you girl. I have several events lined up. So our first one is March 20th. We have a business social at Kingsman Coffee and COE in Duncanville, Texas. That will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Any content creators, any podcasters here in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, we will have a meetup there on March 20th.
So have some coffee, discuss some ideas. We will also have a pitch contest for the best podcast idea, and you'll also get a special something, something whoever wins. So we are excited about that. It'll be for two hours. They also have a podcast room, which is kinda like a creative room where you can go upstairs, do some content, have you some meetings, if you wanna do some interviews, however you wanna use that space, it will be available.
So this will be the launch of it so you guys can see the different spaces here for you to record content. So I am really, really excited about this collaboration with Kingsman Coffee and Co. And it's black on, so they'll have a. Full menu available for us to order drinks, coffee, lemonade, and they have food.
So it'll be available for us as we are having a good time and networking and sharing ideas and supporting each other. The next one is March 28th. I am hosting a podcast, growth The bootcamp. We only have four seats left, so this is completely free and it's in person. A lot of people have been reaching out to me to figure out if it's either through Zoom or if it's virtual, whatever the case may be.
Not this time. This is in person. The reason that we're doing it in person is because we want people to bring their laptops. I said laptops. I dunno where that accent came from, but we want people to bring their laptops. So we can actually work together in rebranding your podcast. So a few things that we're gonna go over is your title descriptions, and I'm also gonna help you research those things.
What key words people in your industry are using? And let's implement that within your title and your descriptions. We're also gonna look at how to create your cover art. 'cause we need to revamp it. Once we, of course, rebrand your title, we need to make sure that your cover art represents that as well. So we're gonna be doing that in person.
We're gonna make sure that we get some different techniques and we're gonna show you the best ways of creating this. Um, different resources if you don't feel like you wanna create it, how we can outsource and have somebody else create it at an affordable rate. And what else are we gonna do? We're also gonna talk about the technique of using the first 72 hours of launching your episode, making sure not only that we launch our episode, but we get it out there.
To your audience so they'll know to listen. So we'll be creating content together so we can make sure that people know what's happening and you're available on social media. So we'll be going through all those things together, and that's the reason why we're making it very intimate. Only eight people are able to sign up for this event soon as eight people sign up.
th at:So make sure that you tune in March 28th for the Podcast Growth Bootcamp. The next one is that we're having a collaboration with Kevin D. Williams. He's an international, um, speaker, and we're gonna talk about podcasting and pr. What people don't realize is that digital media is definitely taken. Pretty much the industry by storm when it comes to helping business owners expanding your brand.
So we wanna make sure that we dial down on what PR and what PR is and the benefits and also what podcasting can do for your business. So that will be April 20th. We haven't really advertised that because it's so far out, but I'll make sure to share the link with that with you guys. It will be virtual and it is free as well.
And with the April 20th event and March 28th event, after everything is over, we'll have some special offers for you, for everyone that attends. So I'll make sure to share both of those with you guys so you can sign up if you're in person for your virtual. I have something for everyone to be included on, so that's exciting.
All right, so let's get to se to season eight and everything that we talked about and a little bit of my takeaways. So of course, episode one I do an introduction of what the season is gonna be about. So episode two was with Willie Lee, uh, episode three was with Amber Dion. Episode four was with Kenny. Um, episode five was with Rebecca.
Episode six was with Ngozi Ngozi. Um, episode seven was with Hussein. Episode eight was with Crystal. Episode nine was with Misha Miller. Episode 10 was with Devar Belle, and of course I'm number 11, so it was close. I said 10 through 12. So number 11 is a sweet spot of all the episodes this season. So again, it was about real estate investing and we had a ball.
I think my biggest takeaway, I. Is really doing your research when it comes to investing in anything. If that's investing in yourself, investing in property, investing in creating a portfolio, investing in wealth building, whatever the case may be, do your research, but also don't be afraid to ask questions.
A lot of times we feel like we can go to Google. I know that's what me and Mr. Willy Lee talked about. Is going to Google to find all these things when you can actually find an expert that's willing to help you and guide you through the process. And what I'm realizing, that it's okay to spend a little money in order to get you from step one to step five because what you don't realize in and invest in yourself, you get a lot more when you actually spend a little money when you.
Put in so much free stuff, you're only gonna get the bare minimum. But when you start investing in these people services, especially these experts that know what they're doing, they're gonna make sure that they support you. So with that being stated, make sure that you look at Google reviews. If you found somebody that's actually worked with them, ask them what their, you know.
What that collaboration looked like. Did they get everything that they need out of their services? Just ask questions, do your research and make sure whoever you hire or you collaborate with, there's a benefit for everybody that's involved. So that was a huge thing that I've learned in this season, and creating a team, you can't do everything by yourself.
A lot of them said that they worked with lenders, they worked with credit repair people. When it comes to their clients, they wanna make sure that their clients get. Everything and beyond to make sure that they get into their first homes, or it may not be their first homes, but actually investing in portfolios, you know, commercials, whatever that ca, whatever the case may be.
They wanna make sure that they have everything they need for their clients. So I really love that they expanded themselves outside of their norm. To actually have a team on board to support their clients, to get them to that next step. So those were really great takeaways that I learned from this season.
As you guys know, well, if you caught on, I was in a real estate situation with our family, and this definitely gave me the education that I needed to know in order to move forward. So even if you're not into real estate or you're looking to learn later. They were all type of different nuggets that you can take away to help you in your business and of course with real estate 'cause they gave a lot of resources.
But I just think there was a lot of gems or a lot of wisdom, a lot of education that you could take with you this season. So make sure you go back, tune in and just listen and let me know what you think about it. All right, so as we are gearing up for season nine, we will have. Two to five minute little snippets of everybody's episode so you can get the gist of what the episodes was about.
So pretty much like a highlight reel of the full episode, but just in a mini bit size so you can really get the gist of it. So in the background, we are gonna be preparing for season nine. We'll also put out the survey, a poll of what you think season nine theme would look like. So make sure you sign up for our newsletter so you can be the first to know.
ty much it. Like I mentioned,:I've been put in so many different rooms, and I just wanna make sure that since I'm getting this, I wanna be a blessing to you guys so many. People have been a blessing to me. I wanna make sure that I show up for you, so make sure you tune in, tell a friend. We are doing so much this year. I can't believe that we are already starting off with three events this year.
I won a $2,500 grant, so if this is just the first quarter of the year, I can just imagine what God has for me the rest of the year and beyond. So make sure that you guys sign up. Tell a friend, tell a cousin, tell a auntie, tell a uncle. Tell your grandparents. Tell the people that what's good productions is out here we are working.
And we are trying to soak up as much information as we can to make sure that we meet you where you are. We are accepting new clients. If you are starting a podcast, if you're looking to grow your current podcast, if you are just looking to start out with creating content on social media, we do that too.
So. All the links are gonna be in the show notes, so make sure that you click the link to either schedule an appointment with me or if you just wanna sit down, chat, whatever the case may be, you can schedule an appointment and we can make it happen. So I'm excited to chat with you. Make sure that you rate, review, subscribe, and follow on all platforms on podcast directories and also YouTube.
And we have so much content we're getting ready for you guys, and we're gonna continue to provide research. Resources and support you. So again, thank you so much for listening to What's Good podcast. If you're listening to this morning, noon, evening, or night, thank you for tuning in and we'll see you guys in Season nine.
Deuces.
